Paw Mask FAQs

How do I order masks?
To order masks email Joanne Adams at:  pawinthedoor@gmail.com and tell me which number of the masks you would like to order & how many of each mask number. So you might order 2 of #1 and 1 of #6 for a total of 3 masks.
For fast service don’t put your order on paypal as I don’t get the report each day so there may be a delay.

It says masks are being sold by donation. What should I donate per mask?
Our cost for masks is 4.20 including the envelope & postage.  We are asking a minimum donation of $5.00 per mask plus shipping. As I said we are appreciative of whatever folks can do. Not trying to make millions but we are trying to raise funds to provide medical care, vaccines, feed, house & rehabilitate cats until we can get them a great home!
For folks who can not afford masks we will happily send them a mask but we ask that they allow us to choose the patterns as some fabrics are more expensive than others.

How can I make payment for the masks I order?
After choosing the masks you want to order you can either pay by check or PayPal. We don’t need to receive a check before shipping. We operate on the honor system because we want you to get your masks & be safe ASAP! Pay when convenient for you. To mail a check the address is:  A Paw in the Door, 16 Winter Street, Bath, ME 04530. The web address to send payment to our PayPal to is:   apid2012@yahoo.com & you will see a donate button at the bottom of this page. Click on the donate button & when our PayPal comes up click on the message & just type in MASKS & donate!

Are masks being made locally & with safe protocol?
Masks are made wearing single use gloves & sterilized with a hot iron before packing in cello bags sealed with an adhesive sticker. They come to me like that & I get them ready for mailing using single use gloves & self stick stamps. ʉ۬

How do I get my masks?
Masks can be delivered either through USPS or no contact delivery locally, (Bath, Brunswick, and Wiscasset) & are done wearing a mask & single use gloves. I can put them between your doors, on the windshield of your car or meet you outside practicing social distancing.

How long does it take to get masks?
I ship the day you order unless it is past time for the USPS 5 pm pick up & then I pack that evening & ship in the morning. Locally they have been arriving the next day after ship so the day after ordering or the day after that. I sent some to Florida & they arrived in 3 days & to AZ which arrived in 3 days as well so the USPS is on their toes! We better keep funding it!
Our volunteer Anne is sewing daily. We are trying to stick to 6 patterns weekly. We try to have some for both men & women. The men who are buying them don’t care to wear kitties & flowers I’m told so we always include some solids & manly fabrics in the selections for the week! Solids are being made over the next couple of days & will be available soon!
I hope this answers all your questions about our mask making fundraiser for A Paw in the Door!
If you would like a more detailed look at any of the masks email me & I can send you a close up. All masks are photographed in cello bags.

Stay well!

From all your friends at A Paw in the Door!
